Motorization
of Engine Company No. 11
In 1914 the
1899 Metropolitan Steamer was motorized with the addition of
a 1914 Christie 2-Wheeled Tractor. The horse drawn hose
wagon was replaced with a 1914 Moreland Auto/La-France Combination
Chemical and Hose Wagon.
In 1915 the Metropolitan
and the Moreland were transferred to Engine Company 29 and the
1913 Gorham assigned there was moved to Engine 11. |
