David Dubin
This unusual photo shows Fireman David Dubin, 2nd from the left, sitting outside on a bunk with other members of his crew. Across the street is a 1923 Seagrave Triple covered by a tarp. Although there is no information written on the photo it most was likely taken Saturday morning, March 11, 1933, the day after the Long Beach Earthquake. |

Captain David Dubin retired in July 1941. Shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor Dubin moved to Hawaii and took over the firefighting operations at Ft. Ruger, Ft. DeRussy and Black Point. |
