RULE 43.

SECTION 1. All monies donated to the Fire Department must be immediately reported to the Board of Fire Commissions and kept in a separate fund, to be known as the Relief Fund. Any member of the Department who shall receive injuries while on duty or in the line of service shall receive full pay while so disabled for a period not to exceed fifteen days, and if such disability shall continue for more than fifteen days he shall thereafter receive from the Relief Fund a weekly allowance of $10.00 until he is again able to resume his duties; provided that said weekly allowance of $10.00 shall not be paid for a longer period than three months. All orders on the Relief Fund must be signed by the Chief Engineer and countersigned by the Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners.
