RULE 16.

SECTION 1. All officers of the Department shall be just, dignified and firm in dealing with subordinates, being careful to abstain from violent, abusive or immoderate language in giving orders and directions, as well as in conversation with them; see that all Rules and Regulations of the Department are carried out and obeyed, and promptly report any infraction thereof to their superior officers.

RULE 17.

SECTION 1. No officer or member of the Department shall, except in the performance of duty, enter a saloon while wearing any part of the uniform which identifies him with the Department.
