RULE 5.
SECRETARY.

SECTION 1. There shall be in the office of the Fire Department a Secretary, who shall have the rank of Captain.

SEC. 2. It shall be the duty of the Secretary to preserve and keep all books and papers belonging to said Department or which are required by law to be filed therein, and shall attend in the office of said Department during the usual office hours, and do and perform such other services, and attend such alarms and fires, as may be required by the Fire Commissioners or the Chief Engineer.
